Tailored to Your Process
A big bag discharger, also known as a big bag unloading station, empties powders and granules from big bags (FIBCs) to feed your production line. Sofraden Bulk designs and manufactures these stations with a robust welded steel frame, a big bag support and a dust-tight connection to the discharge hopper.
Depending on the material and process, the equipment can incorporate flow assistance devices, weight monitoring, low-level detection or an outlet dosing system. Two equipment configurations are available: the DRA provides assisted lifting of the big bag to facilitate discharge, while the DAP incorporates an electric hoist for handling and emptying the big bag without a forklift.

Assisted lifting of the big bag to facilitate discharge.
| Criterion | DAP | DRA |
|---|---|---|
| Design | Essential features for efficient operation | An all-in-one solution |
| Handling | Forklift-assisted loading | Integrated hoist handling |
| Best Suited For | Optimizing investment costs | Maximizing autonomy and flexibility |

The system is built around a welded steel frame with a big bag support and a dust-tight connection to the discharge hopper. Depending on the configuration, it includes assisted big bag lifting or a hoist-based handling system.
Depending on the material and process, the discharger can be equipped with various options: flow assistance devices, weight monitoring, low-level detection or an outlet dosing system.
Flow Assistance
Bag massage system and vibration for poorly flowing materials
Weight Monitoring
Weighing system to monitor discharged quantities
Discharge Hopper with Low-Level Detection
Signals the end of the discharge cycle
Outlet Dosing System
Sector valve, rotary airlock, screw conveyor or microdosing unit
